We will discuss various strategies for determining quality of individual performance, team performance and program outcomes. Key considerations will be discussed for setting up and conducting peer review, quality assurance and program evaluation, as well as how to effectively put this information to use.

AFN WEBINAR HOST - DR. JENNIFER L. JOHNSON
Dr. Jennifer Johnson is a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner, board-certified advanced forensic nurse, and sexual assault nurse examiner with more than 20 years’ experience in practice. She currently works as an assistant manager of a comprehensive forensics program in the Midwest and is the president and owner of Johnson Legal Nurse Consulting, LLC. Dr. Johnson earned her doctorate of nursing practice from Maryville University in St. Louis and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri - Kansas City. Dr. Johnson is an appointed member of a number of professional and governmental organizations related to forensic medicine, including the National Institute of Standards and Technology/National Institute for Justice Evidence Management Project, and is the President Elect and a Co-Founder of the Academy of Forensic Nursing.
AFN WEBINAR HOST - DR. CATHY CARTER-SNELL
Dr. Carter-Snell is a professor of nursing at Mount Royal University in Calgary, Canada. She has many years of experience as a trauma nurse including Emergency, Intensive Care, Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence. Her roles included staff nurse, manager and educator. She has a special interest in outcome measurement and evaluation. Dr. Carter-Snell has developed web data collection systems for both Emergency and sexual assault teams and used these for both quality assurance and research.
