About The Event

Alaska Nurses Association is jointly providing with the Academy of  Forensic Nursing and the University of Alaska Anchorage College of Health a regional conference with emphasis on promotion and expansion of forensic health care training to better serve persons who have been harmed by violence.  

Location: University of Alaska Anchorage, Rasmusen Hall, 3211 Providence Dr, Anchorage, AK 99508 

Target Audience: Health and Social Service Professionals, Public Health,  First Responders, Health Administrators, Law Enforcement, Victims  Advocates and Community Members. 

Continuing Education Credits: 14 contact hours will be awarded by the Montana Nursing Association. Approval for social work and continuing medical education credits is in progress.  

Attendance Options: May attend one or both days or in-person or online. Note: The online option is limited to only those residing outside the Anchorage, Alaska area. 

Registration Fees

Full Conference (2 days in-person): $200

Half Conference (1 day in person): $125

Online Full Conference (2 days online): $100

Online Half-Conference (1 day online): $75
