This was well written, and unfortunately true. Every point of contact that both the victim and the alleged come into contact with can provide a wealth of information for case development and the investigation unfolds. My thoughts are that not thinking about what will happen down the pathway impairs what a person may or may not write into their documentation, having great documentation of all the information can be a game changer once the adjudication process begins.
