Alexis Patterson

Alexis Patterson, BSN, RN, is a registered nurse and Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner based in Traverse City, Michigan. She serves on the Vascular Access Specialty Team at Munson Medical Center and provides trauma-informed forensic care in the emergency department. Patterson is actively involved in community initiatives addressing sexual assault response and human trafficking and is committed to strengthening multidisciplinary collaboration in rural settings. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Michigan, where her academic focus centers on trauma-informed care with a special interest in women’s, sexual, and reproductive health. Her professional interests include expanding access to forensic nursing services and developing sustainable models of care for underserved communities.
