Brian Yorkgitis

Dr. Brian Yorkgitis is a Professor of Surgery and the Chief of Acute Care Surgery at IU. He works clinically in the fields of trauma, acute care surgery, and critical care. He served as a deputy sheriff in both Pennsylvania and Florida. Prior to coming to Indianapolis, he was the tactical physician for Jacksonville Sheriff's Office SWAT team.
