Nikol Hamilton

Dr. Nikol Hamilton is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of nursing experience in clinical practice, forensic mental health, education, and legal nurse consulting, including mediation. She earned her BSN from McNeese State University (2001), MSN in Family/Community Clinical Nursing with Nurse Educator Certificate from University of Central Arkansas (2009), PMHNP post-MSN certification from University of Cincinnati (2017), and Doctor of Nursing Practice in Leadership from Arkansas State University (2025).

She holds certificates in Faith-Based Equine Assisted Philosophy (FBEAP), Natural Lifemanship Level 1 Trained Clinician in Trauma-Focused Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (TF-EAP), Horse-Powered Reading Program, Faith Community Nursing (FCN), and Spiritual & Mental Health First Aid.

Founder of Nourish Psychiatry, Hamilton specializes in victim impact support, maternal OCD, and catastrophic illness care. She is a national speaker on nurse burnout, moral injury, and accountability, integrating trauma-informed, faith-based, and whole-person approaches, and views forensic nursing and mediation as sacred callings to uphold justice and advocate for those whose voices must be heard.
