Hi everyone. I am doing some research on the evidence that survivors bring to the SANE exam. If you have a minute to take a look, I would really appreciate your input! Thank you! Jane
Roughly how many times (or percentage of times) has a survivor brought self-collected evidence to a SANE exam? What types of evidence have they brought? How do you package this type of evidence?
Do you make any notations that describe the evidence as self-collected?
If yes, has anyone objected to this terminology or to accepting evidence that was self-collected?
Do you know of any cases in which the evidence was used to identify a perpetrator? Do you know of any cases in which the evidence was relied upon in any way in a case or court proceeding?
