Catherine Rossi

Catherine Rossi is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner for adults, pediatrics, and adolescents. She founded and directs the Forensic Nursing Program at Cone Health System in central North Carolina. Rossi is a founding member and prior president of the Academy of Forensic Nursing (AFN). She pioneered blended learning for forensic nursing education, regularly lectures and publishes on topics such as sexual assault and human trafficking, and serves as a lifetime member and past Commissioner of the International Association of Forensic Nurses. Her work has advanced comprehensive forensic care for diverse populations across North Carolina
