Rakesh Gorea

Rakesh Gorea is Professor Emeritus at Baba Farid University of Health Sciences and Advisor to the Medicolegal Institute of India. He also holds appointments as Adjunct Professor at Eternal University and the University of the Philippines, Manila. He has extensive expertise in medicolegal practice, encompassing postmortem examinations, clinical forensic medicine, academic instruction for undergraduate and postgraduate students, research, administration, and scholarly publishing. Gorea currently serves as president of three professional organizations: INPAFNUS, INPAFO, and SPIC. His scholarly contributions include three books, seven book chapters, and over 160 original research articles. A passionate traveler who has visited 22 countries, he enjoys engaging with diverse communities, delivering keynote addresses and guest lectures internationally, and writing in his leisure time.
