The Academy of Forensic Nursing's Education Committee invites you to join your AFN colleagues for two days of learning, collaboration, and connection at AFN International Virtual Forensic Nursing Conference, November 5–6, 2026. This event will feature a diverse offering of presentations of relevance to both novice and experienced forensic-nursing professionals and their allies.

AFN Cancellation Policy
VIRTUAL - Our virtual events are created for flexible schedules. If you are unable to attend the day(s) of the conference, you will have the ability to watch all of the sessions asynchronously – on your own time and schedule – within three months of the live event. Therefore, we do not allow cancellations or refunds. By continuing to the registration page, you indicate you agree with this policy.

Continuing Education Disclosure:
This two-day virtual continuing education activity is designed for registered nurses and other healthcare professionals involved in forensic nursing practice. Content includes up-to-date information on forensic techniques, patient care strategies, and interdisciplinary collaboration. A total of 16.75 hours of continuing education is available upon completion.
Criteria for successful completion:

Virtual attendees will be monitored via Zoom system & must complete at least 90% of the sessions (450 minutes per day / 900 total) to earn credit

All attendees will complete the verification form, and

All attendees will complete the post-conference evaluation.
Recordings of the live sessions will be made available within two weeks of the live date. If you are unable to complete the two-day event virtually via Zoom, you may view the conference presentations asynchronously (on demand).
Asynchronous attendees must utilize the LMS to obtain resource information (if available), view 100% of recordings, complete all modules, and successfully complete the attestation and evaluation. Upon completion, a CE certificate for 16.75 hours of continuing education will be awarded.
All content has been reviewed by the Academy of Forensic Nursing to ensure that it is evidence-based, fair, balanced, and free from commercial bias. All relevant financial relationships have been mitigated in accordance with the standards set forth by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
