Cheryl Jones

Cheryl Jones, PhD, is a criminal justice scholar and educator with a strong background in research methods. She holds a doctorate in criminal justice from the University of Cincinnati and brings extensive experience in teaching, research, curriculum development, and applied evaluation. Her professional work focuses on preparing students to think critically, conduct meaningful research, and apply evidence-based approaches to criminal justice challenges. Jones is passionate about connecting classroom learning with real-world experiences and developing opportunities for students to engage with criminal justice professionals and community partners. Outside of work, Jones enjoys spending time with her family and getting outdoors. She especially enjoys taking walks with her puppy and her new son, discovering the simple joys of exploring together.
