Dustina Bitten

Dustina Bitten, MSN, RN, earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Regis University and a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Forensic Nursing from Aspen University. Bitten is completing an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program and plans to consider pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice. Bitten began a nursing career in the burn ICU, where she advanced to charge nurse before transitioning to travel nursing. Her experience spans multiple intensive care specialties, with a primary focus on burn, trauma, and medical critical care, as well as emergency nursing. She has spent the past two years practicing as a forensic nurse examiner and continues to work in correctional nursing on an as-needed basis. Outside of nursing, Bitten enjoys playing beach volleyball and riding her horses. Both allow her to stay active, recharge, and maintain a healthy balance outside of work.
