Jennifer DiNoto

Jennifer DiNoto is a certified Forensic Nurse Examiner specializing in adult, adolescent, and pediatric populations at Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Towson, Maryland. In this role, she works closely with law enforcement and multidisciplinary teams to deliver trauma-informed care for survivors of violence. She has contributed to expert testimony preparation in partnership with the State’s Attorney’s Office and co-facilitates a monthly adolescent support group alongside the Child Protection Program Coordinator. DiNoto also engages in community outreach to raise awareness of resources and services available to survivors. With more than nine years of experience, DiNoto serves as both a Nursing Professional Development Specialist and Clinical Nurse in the Emergency Department at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center in Rosedale, Maryland. Through these roles, she promotes clinical education, professional growth, and high-quality patient care. She is also the Founder and Co-Chair of the Purple Ribbon Initiative, an interdisciplinary education program aimed at improving recognition and care for victims of sexual and domestic violence, child abuse, and human trafficking in hospital settings without forensic services. DiNoto earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Towson University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. Her professional interests focus on forensic nursing, trauma-informed care, nursing education, and advocacy for survivors of violence and human trafficking. DiNoto's contributions have been recognized with the MedStar Health Nursing Impact Award (2022), the MedStar Franklin Square Indirect Care Nurse of the Year Award (2025), and Baltimore Magazine’s Excellence in Nursing Awards (2023, 2025).
