Kimberly A. Kasper

Kimberly A. Kasper is a highly accomplished Clinical Assistant Professor at Duquesne University's School of Nursing. With a distinguished career spanning over two decades, Kasper brings extensive expertise as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and a prominent leader in forensic nursing. She has dedicated her time as a Volunteer Nurse Practitioner at the Good Samaritan Clinic in Gulf Breeze, Florida, and contributes to the Alfred Washburn Center for the Homeless. A recognized expert in her field, Kasper has been widely published in peer-reviewed journals and authored book chapters. Kasper's commitment to advancing nurse practitioner education and practice is evident in her extensive presentations at international, national, state, and local levels on topics such as human trafficking, forensic examination, and sexual assault programs in the acute care role. She has held leadership positions within numerous professional organizations, and currently serves as Interim President-Elect for the Academy of Forensic Nursing. Kasper also served with distinction in the United States Air Force Reserve as a Flight Nurse. In her spare time she is actively involved in her church, loves to cook, and entertain friends and family.
