Mindi Robles

Mindi Robles received her bachelor’s in nursing in 1999 and went on to receive her master’s degree in nursing education in 2018, both from Northern Illinois University. She is a Certified Emergency Nurse and a Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse. She also has her national certification as a SANE-A and SANE-P. She has been working as an adolescent and adult SANE for over 20 years. She has served as the Illinois Emergency Nurses Association SANE Special Interest Group chair for the past seven years. During this time, the group has developed state-wide resources for forensic photography and strangulation to support sexual assault survivors. She is also a member of the AFN, IAFN, and the ENA. She has presented at hospital symposiums, state symposiums, and at the national Magnet Conference on multiple emergency nursing practice topics. She has co-authored a workbook chapter on intimate partner violence and sexual transmitted infections. She is currently growing a regional SANE Program for her hospital organization, Northwestern Medicine.
