BSN, RN, CNOR, OR-SANE

Kathryn Jubitz is an experienced nurse educator, surgical nurse, and forensic nurse with a passion for trauma-informed care, advocacy, and education. A graduate of Oregon Health and Sciences University, Jubitz brings extensive clinical expertise to forensic nursing, where precision, compassion, and attention to detail are essential. Recognizing the complexity of Title IX, Jubitz is passionate about untangling Title IX services and educating fellow forensic nurses so they can better support students who experience sexual assault and other forms of violence. She strives to strengthen connections between healthcare providers, students, community resources, and campus support systems, helping nurses understand the options and resources available to students. Through her work, Jubitz highlights the vital role forensic nurses play in providing compassionate, specialized care while helping students navigate support systems during an incredibly vulnerable time. When Jubitz is not working, she enjoys quilting, hiking, gardening, and spending time with her husband, sons, and 2.5-year-old grandson, Mason. Join Jubitz for an engaging exploration of Title IX, and the critical role nurses can play in supporting college students after sexual assault—bridging gaps in care, strengthening connections, and ensuring survivors receive compassionate, informed, and dignified support.
