
Chelsea Hassell
BSN, RN, CEN, SANE-A

Chelsea Hassell graduated from Auburn University at Montgomery in May 2014 with her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. After passing the NCLEX and graduation, she was immediately commissioned into the United States Army as a Second Lieutenant assigned to the Nurse Corps. While serving as an active-duty Registered Nurse she specialized in Emergency Department/Trauma patient care. During her career she was recommended to attend Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner training and has been actively involved in the community since 2015. This included serving as the Nursing Director of the Sexual Assault Medical Management Office while stationed at Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii from 2017–2021. In 2023–2024 she completed a nine-month deployment in support of Operation Inherent Resolve where she was awarded the Combat Action Badge and two Army Commendation Medal-Combat. After dedicating ten years of active-duty time, she ended her time in service in August 2024. She now serves as the Multicare Forensics Program Clinical Trainer where she is able to continue her passion of caring for vulnerable patient populations.
