Martha Phillips

Martha Phillips is a Forensic Nurse Examiner with the Providence Intervention Center for Assault & Abuse in Everett, Washington. She has been a nurse for nearly 20 years, and has spent the past 10 years focusing her time and energy on forensic nursing. She has also worked with the Harborview Abuse & Trauma Center in Seattle, Washington, as a SANE trainer for nurses throughout Washington State, and worked in early 2025 as the Interim Forensic Nursing Manager at the Norton Sound Health Corporation in Nome, Alaska. She is a member of the Washington State SAFE Advisory Group; a TeleSANE nurse for GW Medical Faculty Associates out of Washington DC; and is a trainer for the Alaska Comprehensive Forensic Training Academy, based out of the University of Alaska-Anchorage. In her free time she heads out into the North Cascades and walks up very large hills at a very slow pace.
