
Tracee Chapman
DNP, RN, CEN, SANE-A, CHSE

Dr. Tracee Chapman, an Idaho native, is a nurse educator and clinician with extensive experience in emergency and forensic nursing. She earned her BSN from Boise State University in 2015, later completing her MSN at Northwest Nazarene University (2021) and DNP at Weber State University (2024). She is certified in emergency nursing, forensic nursing, and healthcare simulation education. Her clinical experience spans the emergency department, monitoring loop recorders, school nursing, and eight years with the Canyon County SAFE team, where she provides trauma-informed care to survivors of violence. Chapman discovered her passion for teaching through hospital precepting and now serves as the director of her institution’s nursing simulation program. She has authored and co-authored presentations and publications aimed at improving student learning and patient outcomes. Outside of work, she enjoys RV camping, kayaking, swimming, and exploring national parks with her husband, two sons, and two dogs.
